Travel had fascinated me from an early age. After graduating, I accepted a temporary position at a company, but it soon became clear that I was looking for something more.

Nine months later, just after being offered a permanent contract, my grandmother told me that TUIfly was recruiting cabin crew again. It had never been a childhood dream, but I was young, the idea sounded exciting, and I decided to go for it.

It didn’t take long to realise that I had found my place in the sky. I loved the lifestyle: the rhythm of boarding calls, the charm of layovers and looking out of the aircraft window at 35,000 feet.

Today, I’m first and foremost a mum to two little girls—an adventure in itself. But part of me still misses walking through the cabin in the early hours, wearing wings on my uniform and all the little rituals that made aviation life so special.
